Once we have received your application we will contact you to discuss more what personality type of corgi you are looking for. We will let you know if we have one available at that time or not.

Please do not become disappointed if we do not have a dog available at that time. Corgis are very special and people love their corgis, so it is only under extreme hardship that we get in a corgi.

Unfortunately, with the economy being as it is, we are receiving in more and more corgis, but we never know one day to the next how many corgis, if any we will have. So we just want to let you know that at times, we may have corgis waiting to be adopted, and other times not. But we will keep your applications on file and when a corgi comes in that fits the description of what you are looking for, we will get in touch with you.

Once we receive your application, we will schedule an appointment for a home visit. We need everyone who lives in the household home to meet. This includes any other pets you may have.

Once the home visit is done and you have passed, when we have "your corgi" we will set up a "meet" with him/her. This is to make certain you are happy with this dog and to see how you both are with each other. If all is well, we will have you take the corgi home for a "trial" visit. After one month, if all is great, they are your dog.

We do have in our adoption contract that if, for any reason, ever, you are unable to continue to care for your corgi, illness, divorce, financial, etc., that the corgi is returned to us. We never want the dog to become a burden to anyone's family or friends, and we request "first refusal" on every one.

There is an adoption fee between $300 and $500 depending on age. Younger dogs are more expensive. This money is used to help pay for some of the expenses the dog may have incurred during their foster care and also to help other fosters dogs.
